How it works
Public permit data is scattered across city websites. We collect it, clean it up and make it easy to search.
- 1
Choose your city
Pick the city or cities you work in. Each city shows exactly what area it covers and how often its source updates.
- 2
Find relevant projects
Search by address or keyword. Filter by issue date, work type, residential or commercial, status, ZIP and reported valuation.
- 3
Save and get updates
Save projects and searches. Turn on a daily or weekly digest — we only email when matching records actually change.
Good to know
- Where does the data come from?
- Official public permit records published by each city or county. Every record links to its original source.
- Is a valuation what the job is worth to me?
- No. A permit valuation is a construction estimate reported to the city. It isn't expected revenue for your business.
- Will I get contact details for every project?
- No. We show contractor, applicant, owner and permit-holder details only when the public source supplies them.
- How fresh is the data?
- It depends on each city's source. Some publish daily; Los Angeles publishes weekly. Each city page shows its schedule and last update.
